Information we collect
When you ask us to review a job, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, collection and delivery addresses, postcodes, dates, access and parking details, item descriptions, photographs, messages, quotation decisions and a history of the job’s status.
Why we use it
We use this information to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, provide and administer a service when a booking is agreed, meet legal record-keeping duties, and pursue legitimate interests such as responding to enquiries, planning work and protecting the service from misuse. We do not sell your details or use them for unrelated marketing without permission.
Where it is stored
Website requests are stored using Cloudflare services. Photographs are held in private storage and can be viewed only through the protected owner dashboard. The owner dashboard requires a verified sign-in. A new-job alert is sent only to the private Peluno Removals alert address; the website does not send automatic emails to customers.
How long we keep it
Uploaded photographs are automatically deleted no later than 90 days after upload, regardless of the job’s status. Unaccepted enquiries and declined requests are scheduled for deletion after 12 months. Records for completed work may be kept for up to six years where they are needed for accounting, contractual or legal record-keeping. Peluno Removals should review these periods regularly and delete information sooner when it is no longer needed.
Your choices
You can ask Peluno Removals for access to your information, or ask us to correct, restrict, object to the use of, or delete it where the law provides. Email quotes@pelunoremovals.co.uk and include your job reference. If you remain concerned about how your information is handled, you may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Security and private links
Customer status and decision pages use a long, private link supplied when needed. Do not forward that link. Website forms use automated abuse protection. No online payment information is collected by this website.
Estimate and quotation terms
The local-removals calculator provides an informative price range based on the information supplied. It is not a binding quotation, acceptance of the job or confirmed booking. Peluno Removals reviews every request and may confirm a price inside or outside the displayed range, request more information, offer different terms or decline the job.
The customer can accept or decline a final quotation using their secure link. Quotations are normally available for 14 days. Acceptance records agreement to the quoted price and stated conditions; the job becomes a booking only after Peluno Removals marks it as booked. Peluno Removals is not VAT registered and no VAT is currently added.
Nationwide and emergency transport always receives a tailored quotation rather than an automatic estimate.
Waiting time
A 15-minute grace period is allowed. Customer-caused waiting after that is charged at £35 per hour for each team member assigned to the job, calculated in 30-minute increments. This may include the customer not being ready at the agreed time, unavailable keys, delayed access or another delay outside Peluno Removals’ control. A final quotation may state a different waiting arrangement where the job requires it.
Customer responsibility
Customers should provide complete and accurate information, including every item, quantities, access restrictions, parking conditions, floors, lifts, dates and photographs where requested. Peluno Removals may withdraw or revise a quotation if the actual job is materially different, unsafe or impossible to complete as described.
Cancellations and changes
Any cancellation, deposit, rescheduling or waiting-time conditions must be included in the final quotation or agreed separately before booking. No general cancellation or payment terms are implied by submitting a request.
